MANGALORE, MAY 22. Members of the Bharatiya Janata Party who have been elected to the Legislative Assembly from Dakshina Kannada district and D.V. Sadananda Gowda who has been elected to the Lok Sabha, took out a "Vijaya Yatra" here today. N. Yogish Bhat (Mangalore), B. Nagaraja Shetty (Bantwal), Padmanabha Kottari (Vittla), K. Prabhakara Bangera (Belthangady), J. Krishna Palemar (Surathkal), T. Shakuntala Shetty (Puttur), and S. Angara (Sullia) participated in the procession which started from the BJP's election office near Bunts' Hostel and passed through the main roads. At Hampankatta, the BJP workers noticed a procession of Congress workers who were celebrating the taking over of Manmohan Singh as Prime Minister. At one point of time, workers of both the parties raised slogans against each other. However, there was no untoward incident as security was tight.
