NEW DELHI, MAY 22. The Congress president, Sonia Gandhi, today hinted at a reorganisation of the party's central leadership structure particularly the Congress Working Committee since many of its members had now become Ministers. She was interacting with the media after the swearing-in ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan this evening. About her son and newly-elected member of Parliament from Amethi, Rahul Gandhi's statement that he was not interested in a ministerial berth, Ms. Gandhi said younger leaders were needed by the party. However, she was non-committal on whether she had any special assignment for him. Being her first public interaction-of-sorts after she "renounced" the office of Prime Minister earlier this week, Ms. Gandhi was flocked by people who wanted to congratulate her for not just the Congress performance at the hustings but her own decision. And to journalists' questions on her reaction to her deification, Ms. Gandhi said: "Please do not call me or compare me to a saint. I am only an ordinary human being."
