KHARAR, MAY 22. A local court today remanded Hoshiarpur Municipal Council Executive Officer, Gurvinder Goindi Randhawa, to two-day police remand in a case of corruption registered against her by the Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) at Mohali yesterday. The Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Poonam Ratti, ordered the accused to be produced once again before the court on Monday. Ms. Randhawa was produced before the court here this evening after the expiry of her one-day police remand. On Friday night, a court had sent her to police custody till today after she was arrested by the VB from Hoshiarpur MC office for allegedly accepting Rs. 5,700 as bribe. --PTI
