Fake baba arrested

HYDERABAD, MAY 22. The Saroornagar police reportedly arrested a person who was trying to cheat people by taking money and assuring them that he would solve their problems. The `fake baba' was identified as Eshwaraiah (70), a native of Guntur district. It is learnt that he promised to get an election ticket for Narsimha Reddy, a local Telengana Rashtra Samithi youth leader, if he paid him Rs. 50,000.

However, Mr. Reddy grew suspicious when the `baba' tried to create differences between him and members of his family. The Saroornagar police are investigating the case.
