Arun, Anand star in Senshare CC's win

KARAIKUDI, MAY 23. Solid knocks by Arun (74) and Anand (60) helped Senshare Cricket Club defeat AP Tech WBC Cricket Club by 22 runs in the Indian Bank - Sivaganga District Cricket Association `A' division league here recently.

The scores:

`A' Division: Senshare CC 287 for nine in 49 overs (Arun 74, Anand 60, Mukkaiyan 33, Arunachalam three for 11) bt AP Tech WBC CC 265 for nine in 50 overs (Arunachalam 33, Narayanan 74, Subramani 71, Suresh three for 34).

Sachin Brothers CC 172 in 37 overs (Pandian 53, Siva Muthukrishnan 44, Sivabalan four for 40) lost to TCPL CC 173 for five in 31 overs (Jothivannan 38, Silambarasan 25, Varadharajan 26, Balamurugan 25).

`B' Division: Devakottai CC `B' 119 in 18 overs (Kannan 25, Arun four for 15) bt Leaders CC 82 in 25 overs (G. Saravanakumar 45).

Leaders CC 117 in 26 overs (K. Muthuselvam 51 not out) lost to Big Birds CC 118 for five in 18 overs (Sudalai Muthu 33).

`C' Division: Newland CC 86 in 18 overs (V. Senthil 25, Sultan Allaudeen five for 10) lost to Moonlight CC 87 for four in 17 overs (Babu 26 not out, Vinodhkumar 25, V. Senthil three for 20).

Moonlight Winners CC 208 in 30 overs (Jeevan 88, Babu 25, Karthik four for 35) bt Star Birds CC 127 in 27 overs (Rabeek 57, Sheik 25, Allaudeen three for 20).

Moonlight CC 143 in 25 overs (Sahul Hameed 27, Alkhoff Khan three for 24, Napoleon three for 24) lost to Oscar CC 147 for five in 22 overs (Abraham 58 not out, Senthil 25).
