NDA Government messed up education: Arjun

NEW DELHI, MAY 23. The Cabinet Minister, Arjun Singh, today alleged that the Vajpayee Government had tried to "mess up" education reforms without going through the legitimate channels for support and approval.

"Education reforms were introduced in the country by Rajiv Gandhi and they had anticipated steps at every stage," he told NDTV 24x7.

"Recently, the last Government had tried to mess up the whole thing and did not go through the legitimate channels for support and approval. So, we will have to see how the whole thing comes out," Mr. Singh said.
