HYDERABAD, MAY. 24. An Assistant Sub-Inspector, Fakruddin and head constable, O. Malayadri, of Gudur Two Town Police Station in Nellore district, were arrested by the sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday on charges of accepting Rs. 1,500 bribe from a complainant. They would be produced before the Special Court for ACB Cases, Nellore, according to a press release. The ASI demanded bribe from the complainant, who was a former Paid Secretary of Primary Co-operative Society, for not initiating action in connection with petition filed by the Registrar of Co-operative Societies. He accepted the amount through the head constable who tested positive during a chemical test.
