HYDERABAD, MAY 24. Nedurumilli Rajyalaxmi, wife of N. Janardhana Reddy, who stayed away from the first State Cabinet meeting today, has made it clear that she would not reconsider withdrawing her resignation as School Education Minister as she has felt insulted that a senior Congress leader of her husband's stature has been denied a berth in the Union Cabinet. Later, she left for Delhi to meet her husband. This was despite two rounds of mediation by the Major Industries Minister, Botsa Satyanarayana, who tried to convince her that it was the party high command that took all decisions and not the Chief Minister, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, as she perceived it to be. On her part, she stuck to her stand that a `conspiracy' was hatched for denying a Union Cabinet berth to her husband. It was not just an insult to them but to the people who had elected them. She said she was kept in the dark about the "one family one post formula" purportedly worked out by the party high command.
