Admission to PGDCA courses

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, MAY 24. The Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD), a State Government undertaking, has invited applications for admission to one-year PGDCA (two-semester) course scheduled to begin from July at all its centres in the State.

The application forms and prospectus can be had from the IHRD's regional centres in Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam, Colleges of Applied Science at Mavelikkara, Adoor, Peerumedu, Vadakkancherry, Kozhikode, Thodupuzha, Pattuvam, Koothuparamba, Mallappally and Kattapana, Engineering Colleges at Chengannur and Karunagappally, model polytechnics at Mala, Painavu, Vadakara, Kalliassery and Mattakara and technical higher secondary schools at Puthuppally, Muttom, and Perinthalamanna and the extension centre at Tirur on payment of Rs. 25 till June 16.

According to the IHRD Director, those who want the application by post should send a request to the head of the institution along with a demand draft for Rs. 40 in favour of the head of the institutions concerned before June 17.

Those who want the application from Model Polytechnic, Mala, by post should send the request along with the DD drawn in favour of the principal payable at Chalakudy. The completed application should reach the head of the institutions concerned before June 19.

C-DIT courses

The Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DIT) has also invited application for various computer courses being offered in the 100-odd CEP centres. The courses being offered include Diploma in Computer Teacher Training, Diploma in Computer Programming, Diploma in DTP, Diploma in Multimedia, Diploma in Office Automation, PGDCNE, PGDCA, PDSA, DCNA, DCFM, DCS, CEO, CDECO and CDTP.

Those who have passed SSLC, Plus Two and who have appeared for the Degree examinations can apply for the courses. Further details about the courses can be had from the State Coordinator (CEP), C-DIT, Chitranjali Hills, Thiruvallom, Thiruvananthpuram-27.
