THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, MAY 24. The treasury restrictions are being relaxed further. As many as 55 items are being excluded from the restrictions from tomorrow. These include salary, leave surrender, pension, TSB and individual fixed deposits, the expenditure for food of institutions, temporary and non-refundable advance (NRA) up to Rs.1 lakh from the PF, withdrawals up to Rs.3 lakhs from the PF for house construction, PD accounts of FRIENDS, LIC cheques deducted from salary, financial assistance for TB and cancer patients, withdrawals from the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund and Sainik Welfare Fund, all retirement benefits, including DCRG and PF, medical reimbursement of freedom fighters, former MLAs, Ministers, High Court judges, the amount which comes under police account head 2055, expenditures of leprosy hospitals, interest-free medical advances, D form cheques issued till April 30, 2004, orphanage grant, TA, welfare pensions and LC cheques issued till April 30, 2004.
