BELGAUM, MAY 25. Speakers at a function to present Sanchar Seva medals organised by Belgaum Telecom District called upon the staff of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited to strive for greater efficiency and competence in the light of competition from private telephone/mobile phone operators in the country. The medals and awards should instil greater inspiration and zeal to work more and also inspire others to work more and optimise the functioning of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited to the satisfaction of the consumers/subscribers. The function was organised at Kalamandir on Monday where the Medical Director of KLE Hospital spoke and presented the Bharat Sanchar Sarathi and Sanchar Seva Medals to employees of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited in recognition of their outstanding performances. Among those who won the Bharat Sanchar Sarathi medals were G.R. Hiremath, I.R. Mali and Q.A. Mujawar. C.H. Shivanand, N.T. Balekundri and B.N. Patil won the Sanchar Seva medals.
