Sania advances

HYDERABAD, MAY 25. Sania Mirza has entered the pre-quarterfinal round of the womens' singles in the $10,000 Regione House tennis tournament at Compobasso in Italy.

According to information received here on Tuesday, Sania, who is sponsored by the G.V.K. Group, defeated Alexia Virgilli of Italy 6-4, 6-0.
