COIMBATORE, MAY 25. Free coaching classes for IAS/IPS aspirants will be conducted for four days from May 26 at Kongunadu Arts and Science College. According to a release, Thannambikai and Kongunadu Arts and Science College will conduct the course. For details, contact: 2642095.

Inauguration

Electronic tea auction will be inaugurated on May 29 at the Tea Trade Centre by Dipak Chatterjee, Secretary, Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry, according to the Tea Board of India and the Tea Trade Association of Coimbatore.

Training

Training programmes will be conducted for powerloom weavers at the SITRA Powerloom Service Centre, Somanur, from June 14 to 25. For details, contact the service centre or phone: 2333158.

Exhibition

An exhibition-cum-sale of traditional handicrafts and handlooms will be organised by Lepakshi Handicrafts Emporium from May 26 to June 6 at the Jayams Hall.

The District Collector, N. Muruganandam, will inaugurate it.
