Ronaq Manuja sweats it out

MUMBAI, MAY 26. Fifteen first round matches in the boy's singles (under-14) event of the Ist Matunga Gymkhana All India Ranking Junior tennis tournament turned out to be one-sided affairs.

Winners hardly broke a sweat, but Ronaq Manuja had to bring off his best to quell the challenge of Mansing Athare in three sets.

Those who advanced into the second round were Mikhail Shetty, Rushabh Shah, Soham Dalbhajan, Gurav Walia, Marquis Christopher, Siddharth Gulgule and S. Patvardhan.

The others were C. H. Sathireddy, Himanshu Mali, S. V. Abhishek, Sumit Shinde, Luv Sodha, R. Manuja, Nachiket Datar, Suraj Desai and Samit Paranjape.
