Yogesh Sachdeva bowls FCI into quarterfinals

NEW DELHI, MAY 26. Off-spinner Yogesh Sachdeva's four-wicket haul steered Food Corporation of India (FCI) to a five-wicket win over Air Sahara, earning them a place in the quarterfinals of the Lala Raghubir Singh hot weather cricket tournament on Wednesday. Put in to bat, Air Sahara was restricted to 138 as only Anshul Lamba (46) put up some resistance. In reply, FCI started shakily, but Pankaj Thakur (59 not out) and Dharmender Phagna (33 not out) pulled it out to safety.

The scores: Air Sahara 138 in 31 overs (Ansul Lamba 46, Yogesh Sachdeva four for 33, Sonu Vaid three for 19) lost to FCI 141 for five in 32.2 overs (Pankaj Thakur 59 n.ot, Dharmender Phagna 33 n.o).
