All-round show by Veer Bahadur

NEW DELHI, MAY 26. Veer Bahadur (five for 32 and 61 not out) helped Bright Club to a five-wicket win against Young Cricketers in a league match of the DDCA Under-15 cricket tournament here.

The scores: Young Cricketers 155 in 40.5 overs (Anurag Tyagi 41, Shishir Gosain 50, Veer Bahadur five for 32, Sumit Kundu four for 48) lost to Bright Club 159 for five in 39.2 overs (Veer Bahadur 61 not out, Khemchand Joshi 45, Rohan Tuteja three for 42); R. R. Gymkhana 245 for five in 45 overs (Kunal Lal 45, Amanjeet Singh 41, Varun Kumatr 86 not out) bt Alpine Club 235 in 44.3 overs (Umesh Thakur 44, Kamal Sharma 43, Manish Adhikari 41, Shantanu Chawla 43, Vishwas Sehrawat three for 64).
