MANGALORE, MAY 26. A two-year-old child died after drinking copper sulphate meant to be used as fertilizer. The incident occurred at Panjikallu in Koyila village in the Bantwal Rural police station limits. The name of the child was given as Satish. The copper sulphate solution was kept in a bucket, the police said. Though the child was rushed to hospital, it failed to respond to treatment, they added.
