Thunderclouds likely

Thunderclouds could develop towards the afternoon or evening on Thursday and the maximum temperature will be around 39 degree C.

On Wednesday, the maximum temperature was 40.3 degree C, minimum temperature 27.8 degree C and relative humidity 28 per cent.

MCH gets grant

The Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad has bagged the `2003

Asia - Pacific Environmental Summit' GIS software and training grant of $50,000. The MCH Commissioner, Chitra Ramachandran, on Wednesday said the corporation was short-listed from among 28 cities in the world for the grant by the Environmental Systems Research Institute Inc., California.

Yoga camp

Attack flayed

The All-India Muslim Conference has condemned the attack on the shrine of Hazrath Ali in Iraq by the US forces. It president, Moulana Ghousavi Shah, in a release here on Wednesday said Prophet Mohammed had described Hazrath Ali described as His soul.

Police gesture

The Andhra Pradesh Police Officers Association has contributed one-day salary amounting to Rs. 2 crores on behalf of police personnel to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
