National ranking tourney from today

KOLKATA, MAY 27. The fourth round of the National ranking archery championship to be held here from Friday will see some of the best archers in the country hoping to fill the few available berths for the Athens Olympics.

At the SAI, Eastern Centre here 32 men and 16 women will compete for precious ranking points. Satyadev Prasad (382.895) of ITBP in the men's section and Sumangala (174.87) of Uttar Pradesh on the distaff side have the highest points from the previous three rounds of the third phase of the Circuit, which started in Delhi in December 2003. — Our Sports Reporter
