Washington: The U.S. Senator John Kerry has said that he will accept the party's nomination at the political convention this July in Boston ending speculation that he might stretch the process out by about a month to avoid financial disadvantage. He was advised not to accept the nomination at the convention and wait until the Republican convention in New York. The reason was that once the nomination was out of the way, the candidates have only $75 millions in spending money. With the Democratic and the Republican nominations spread over a five-week period, Mr. Kerry now has to spread the money for a longer period of time. The Democrats were worried that delay in the acceptance of nomination could lead to diminished media interest.
