KOLKATA, MAY 27. The top two seeds Snigdha Kapoor and Shrestha Banerjee fell to unseeded opponents Sahana Chatterjee and Madhurima Chowdhury in the quarterfinals of the AITA Talent Series (under-14) hosted by the Serampore Sub-divisional Tennis Club, near here, on Thursday. Third seed Arundhuti Basu, won in straight sets, and was the only seeded player to enter the semifinals, where she will take on Sahana Chatterjee. In the boys' section all the seeds including top-seeded Ranjan Prasad, and second seed Mohammad Imran, third-seeded Bibaswan Deb and the two Tamil Nadu boys S. Prashanth and Mohammad Niyaz moved into the quarterfinals.
