THRISSUR, MAY 27. The Auxiliary Bishop of Thrissur archdiocese, Mar Andrews Thazhathu, will be accorded a civic reception at the Town Hall here on May 30. The chairman of the reception committee, Therambil Ramakrishnan, MLA, told reporters here on Thursday that the Finance Minister, K. Sankaranarayanan, would inaugurate the function. The Mayor, K. Radhakrishnan, would preside. The Archbishop, Mar Jacob Thoomkuzhy, would deliver the keynote address. The Archbishop, Mar Aprem, C. K. Chandrappan, MP, the Vicar General, Fr. George Manadan, K. P. Rajendran, M. K. Paulson, A. C. Moideen, MLAs, N. K. Subramanian, district panchayat president, K. K. Rahulan, former president, SNDP, Fr. Francis Alappat, director, Jubilee Medical College, T. K. Vijayaraghavan, president, Cochin Devaswom Board, P. M. Thomas, president, Chamber of Commerce, and Davis Kannannaikkal, general convener, reception committee, would speak.
