HYDERABAD, MAY 27. People's War naxals have reportedly beaten up two persons, including a Telugu Desam Party worker, before holding a `Praja Court' at Venkateswara thanda of Manchala mandal in Ranga Reddy district, 50 km. from State capital, last night. According to information reaching here, Around 15 armed naxals stormed the thanda around 7.30 p.m., beat up a villager, Ganna (35), accusing him of selling illicitly distilled liquor and thrashed the TDP worker, Venkateswara Rao. They demolished a TDP flag post in the area and warned the local TDP workers not to attend the TDP's Mahanandu that began here on Thursday.
