AK Capital tops merchant bankers league table

HYDERABAD: AK Capital Services Limited has topped the league table of merchant bankers as lead manager for private placements of bonds of public sector and state level undertakings during 2003-04. According to a release issued here on Friday, AK Capital participated in debt issues worth Rs. 6,324 crores handling 32 issues. In 2003-04 there were 62 debt placements with mobilisation of Rs. 12,445 crores from this segment, it said.
