HUBLI, MAY 28. The authorities of Karnatak University have taken serious note of negligence by teachers who had prepared question papers for the examinations conducted by the university and are contemplating taking action against them. This comes after the authorities found that the Kannada question paper for second year B.A. and the Physics paper for second year B.Sc. examinations were the replica of papers set for the preparatory examinations conducted by CSB College at Ramdurg in Belgaum district and P.C. Jabin Science College here. Sources said that being members of a committee constituted by the university to prepare question papers, the teachers of these colleges were said to have used the question papers of the preparatory examinations conducted by the respective institutions for the university examinations. A committee set up to conduct an inquiry into the matter related to the Physics question paper had found some teachers guilty.
