Hari, Ashish star in SCFA's win

HYDERABAD, MAY 28. Hari Haran scored 162 with nine fours and four sixes and then Ashish captured six for 20 to help Sarojini Cricket and Fitness Academy (SCFA) register a 100-run victory over Narender Raj CA in the under-17 section of the All-India Pepsi Cup inter academies cricket tournament at Bangalore, according to information received here on Friday. In the Open category, however, the team from SCFA lost to Kanara Blues CA by three wickets.

The scores:

Under-17 category: SCFA 270 for eight in 30 overs (Hari Haran 162, Gokul 48, Krishna Teja 32) bt Narender Raj CA 170 (Venu 50, Suraj 35, Ganesh 31; Ashish six for 20).

Open category: SCFA 164 for eight in 30 overs (Kaandeep Singh 61, Sanketh Shah 56; Sunil five for 24) lost to Kanara Blues CA 165 for seven in 20 overs (Aditya 62, Ajai 51; Sanketh Shah four for 24).
