Junior basketball from June 6

HYDERABAD, MAY 28. Chittoor District Basketball Association will host the 55th national junior championship for boys and girls (under-18) at Masonical Stadium from June 6 to 13. As many as 23 teams will participate.

The groupings: Boys: Pool A: Punjab, Goa and Gujarat; Pool B: Delhi, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and West Bengal; Pool C: Andhra Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Jammu & Kashmir and Uttaranchal; Pool D: Maharashtra, Kerala, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh; Pool E: Haryana, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Pondicherry; Pool F: Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Manipur and Orissa.

Girls: Pool A: Chattisgarh, Delhi and Goa; Pool B: Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Haryana; Pool C: Punjab, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and West Bengal; Pool D: Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal and Jammu & Kashmir; Pool E: Tamil Nadu, Chandigarh, Jharkhand and Rajasthan; Pool F: Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa and Pondicherry.
