Corporate golf tournament from today

BANGALORE, MAY 28. The Cisco corporate challenge golf tournament is slated to tee off at the Eagleton Golf resort near Bidadi on May 29.

Top corporate executives including Lee Kennedy, CEO 3M India Ltd, Deepak Anand, President UB Global Corporation, N Srinivasan, VP Birla Sun Life and Nikhil Sen, COO, Brittania Industries are on the start list.

The tournament also has some interesting competitions such as `beat the pro,' where players have to beat Rahul Ganapathy. Other contests such as `closest to the pin', `longest drive', `straightest drive', and `blindfolded monster putt' will also be held during the competition.

For non-golfers John Valz, a USGA certified golfer will conduct an `introduction to golf clinic' prior to the start of the tournament. Special coaching tips will also be imparted by Gaurav Diwan and Tarun Sardesai both regulars on the IPGA Tour.
