GUNTUR, MAY 28. The Special Officer, Ch. Vijay Mohan, for procurement of chillies in Guntur district through the Market Intervention Scheme-2004 at Guntur and Sattenapalli agriculture marketyards has announced the schedule for disbursing coupons to farmers from the three revenue divisions. The A.P. Markfed will procure FAQ quality chillies at Rs. 2,700 per quintal from June 1 to 15 and those farmers from Narsaraopet revenue division can collect their coupons on June 1 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Guntur and Sattenapalli marketyards, he said. Farmers in the Guntur revenue division have been asked to collect the coupons on June 2 and those from Tenali division on June 3 during the same time from those places. Farmers would be required to produce pattadar passbooks or the MRO's certificate with a photo declaring a person as genuine farmer, he added.
