Joy for Maninder, despair for Deepak

NEW DELHI, MAY 29. Deepak Sharma's 109 went in vain for Youngsters Club as Maninder Bisla scored a timely 104 in Indian Airlines' four-wicket win in the pre-quarterfinals of the Goswami Ganesh Dutt memorial cricket tournament at the Khalsa College ground here on Saturday.

The scores: Youngsters Club 221 for seven in 40 overs (Deepak Sharma 109) lost to Indian Airlines 225 for six in 39.5 overs (Maninder Bisla 104, Rajat Bhatia 48 n.o., Chandan Madan 45, Mohit Sharma three for 28).
