HYDERABAD, MAY 29. Security sleuths at the Lakeview guesthouse, the official residence of the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, were taken by surprise on Saturday morning after they found a bottle of pesticide in the pocket of a man who was trying to meet Dr. Reddy. Police said, Shivraj (35), claiming to be a farmer, walked into guesthouse stating that he wanted to meet Dr. Reddy. When the security staff frisked him, they found the pesticide bottle. He was immediately handed over to the Panjagutta police for questioning. Shivraj of Sambepally mandal in Cuddapah district came to the city two days ago. He claimed that he had invested between Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 40,000 in chits and had even taken five acres of land on lease for cultivation. He had, however, incurred huge debts. He had not been staying at his house for the last two months, as he was being pressurised for repayment of loan. In a bid to escape from the pressure, he came to the city with the hope that he could get some financial help from the Chief Minister. After questioning, he was sent to his village.
