Cloudy sky forecast

Generally cloudy sky with a likely maximum temperature of 38 degree Celsius is the forecast for Sunday.

The city on Saturday recorded a maximum temperature of 39.4 degree Celsius, minimum temperature of 24.6 degree Celsius, with a relative humidity of 25 per cent and nil rainfall.

NALSAR entrance result

The results of the all India entrance test of NALSAR, University of Law, Hyderabad, will be available on the website www.nalsarlawuniv.org from May 31 onwards, according to a university release.

Contests for children

The Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB), in co-ordination with Jawahar Bal Bhavan, is conducting competitions for children in the age group of 8 to 13 years in nearly 15 summer camps.

Three entries from each category will be selected from each of the camps with the finals scheduled to be held at Jawahar Bal Bhavan on June 1 from 8.00 a.m. onwards. Further details can be had from B. Madhusudan Rao or V. Susheela on phone numbers 23737625 and 23754973.

New currency notes

The Reserve Bank of India will shortly be issuing Rs. 100 denomination bank notes with inset letter `F' and Rs. 20 denomination bank notes without inset letter in numbering panel in Mahatma Gandhi series bearing signature of Y.V. Reddy, Governor of the bank, according to a press release.

Power bill

counters open

All the cash counters including main Electricity Revenue Office (ERO's and sub-ERO's) will function on May 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to enable consumers to pay their bills, a press release said.

The payment can also be made at eSeva centers at Banjara Hills, Khairatabad, Musheerabad, Ramnagar, Malakpet, Salarjung Musuem, Marredpally, S.R. Nagar, Santosh Nagar, New Nallakunta, Rethi Bowli, Vijaynagar Colony, Domalguda, Chikkadpally, Sultan Bazar and Mint Compound without service charge from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
