CPI(M) panel meet begins

THIRUVANANANTHAPURAM, MAY 30. The three-day State committee meeting of the CPI(M) began here today to evaluate the performance of the party in the Lok Sabha elections.

The inclusion of the IUML leader, E. Ahamed, in the Union Ministry, about which the party had expressed strong reservations, would also be discussed in the meeting, party sources said.

The party's objections to the High Court order on restrictions on hartals would also be taken up at the meeting. In the educational sector, demand for revision of the fee structure, announced by the K.T. Thomas committee, would also be discussed by the committee. _ PTI
