Vishal hits unbeaten century

DINDIGUL, MAY 30. Helped by a dazzling unbeaten 119 (86b, 20x4) by Vishal R. Kudawla, a Tamil Nadu State under-22 player, St. Peter's Cricket Club, Kodaikanal carved out a six-wicket victory over Sam Babu XI, Kodaikanal in the Indian Bank - Dindigul District Cricket Association first division league at Seelapadi Police ground here on Sunday.

The scores:

First division: Sam Babu XI 179 in 45.1 overs (R. Karthik 27, A. Elamaran 49, Dayanidhi 30, K. Prabhakaran three for 26) lost to St. Peter's CC 180 for four in 27.1 overs (Vishal R. Kudawla 119 not out). Nike CC, Oddanchatram 40 in 19 overs (L. Ronald David three for 12, K. Prabhakaran three for 10, M. Sivakumar three for 12) lost to St. Peter's CC 43 for two in eight overs.

Third division: Jahir Seniors CC, Vedasandur 149 for 9 in 22 overs (K.Sankaran 37, S.Saddique 26, P.Saravanan 30, K.Chitravel three for 29) bt R.S. Kothandaraman Mem. CC 128 for 9 in 22 overs (K.Chitravel 50, S. Saddique three for 24).
