Bhavani steals the show

HYDERABAD, MAY 30. Bhavani of 10K Foundation stole the show in the girls' under-13 category one-mile race clocking 6:59.00 in the Hyderabad Road Races organised by Athletic Coaching Academy and sponsored by 10K Foundation here on Sunday.

M. Shruthi (10K Foundation) and Kavya Shree (St. Martin) finished second and third with timings of 7:09.00 and 7:16.00 respectively.

Former All England champion Pullela Gopi Chand gave away the prizes.

The results: Men: 2 mile: 1. B. Chandraiah (RRC) 11.36, 2. S. Ajay Kumar (OU), 3. Pradeep Kumar (Boys Sports Co).

Boys: Under-16: 2 mile: 1. Santosh Kumar (Boys Sports Co) 12:20, 2. Sai Kiran (10K Foundation), 3. Bharath Patel (BSC).

1 mile: Under-13: 1. S.K. Khaleel (10K Foundation) 6:24, 2. Hari Krishna (10K Foundation), 3. Beer Singh (Gymkhana).

Under-10: 1. M. Vikram Raja (10K Foundation) 6:19, 2. Vishaal Dev (10K Foundation), 3. Sai Kumar (10K Foundation).

Veteran: 40 years & above: 1 mile: 1. Raju (10 K Foundation) 6:50, 2. Kushal Sharma (Hyd), 3. P. Venkateshwarlu (C. Excise).
