Aruna to lead

CHENNAI, MAY 31. P. Aruna Shanmuga Priya of Tuticorin will captain the Tamil Nadu team for the junior National women's hockey championship to be held in Bangalore from June 3 to 13.

Other members of the side are: Goalkeepers: Inger Mona (vice-captain, Chennai), P. Gayathri (Thiruvallur); Full-backs: C. Lakshmi (Pudukottai), S. Baby Sangeetha (Thiruvallur), R. Sowmiya (Tiruchi); Half-backs: M. Santhanavalli (Pudukottai), M. Uma Maheswari, J.R. Merlin Shalini (both Tirunelveli), P. Epsi (Pudukottai); Forwards: K. Gomathi (Pudukottai), L. Getsy Rani (Tirunelveli), K. Saranya (Thoothukodi), Anu Kumari Singh (Chennai), V. Kanimozhi (Madurai), S.V. Saranya (Chennai). N. Charles Manohar of SDAT will be the coach and L. Nancy of Chennai will accompany as Manager.
