60-year-old run over by jeep

CUDDAPAH, MAY 31. A 60-year-old woman, Boya Sunkamma, was fatally run over by a speeding jeep near KSRM College of Engineering in Chintakommadinne mandal on Monday. She succumbed to injuries sustained in the mishap at the Cuddapah Government Hospital.

She was walking on the roadside when a jeep hit her from behind.

Injured

Meanwhile, a bullock cart owner, Krishna Reddy and two bullocks were injured when a mini-lorry hit the cart near Indlapalle in Ramapuram mandal today. He was rushed to the Rayachoti Government Hospital and then shifted to Ruia Hospital in Tirupati.

The Rayachoti Urban police took up the case and shifted it to Ramapuram police station.
