Boy drowned in well

BIDAR, MAY 31. Nanyareddy (18) drowned in a well in Allapur village on Sunday night.

Police said that the victim had gone to the village with his friends, to attend a marriage. He got into the well and did not know to swim. Police fished out the body on Monday. A case has been registered at the Janawada police station.

Man dead

In another incident, Vijay Kumar (40) drank to the limit and died in his sleep. A resident of Gandhinagar, he went to his Paan shop in Usmanganj in old city to sleep after a visit to a local bar. Passers by noticed blood oozing out of the closed doors of his shop and broke open the shop. They found that ants had eaten some part of the body. A case has been registered at the Town police station.

Body found

The body of a 16-year-old boy, who failed his Secondary School Leaving Certificate examination was found floating in river Manjra near Janawada village in Bidar taluk on Thursday.

While police claim that Shakeel Pasha died due to drowning, his father Mohamad Yousuf, claims that the boy had been was murdered.In his complaint, Mr. Yousuf said that his son was allegedly killed by Babloo Mansure, with whose family he had had a tussle earlier, and four others. He has accused Javed Rehmat Ali, Sadir Habib, Fazal Abdul Hashmi and Moosa of the murder along with Babloo

A case has been registered at the Janawada police station and investigations are on.

Lightning

A woman was killed after she was struck by lightning in Nirna village of Humnabad taluk on Sunday. Police said that Kalavati (45) was killed on the spot when lightning struck her while she was working in her fields. A case has been registered at the Mannaekhali police station.
