Acting on a tip-off that some women would come near the IIT flyover, the police sent a decoy customer to strike a deal. As soon as the deal was struck for Rs. 20,000 for a woman, the police team arrested the three women, who were in a Maruti car. Minor assaulted

NEW DELHI JUNE 2. A 13-year-old girl was allegedly criminally assaulted by a young man after his two accomplices overpowered her father in his house at Wazirabad village in North Delhi in the wee hours of Tuesday.

According to the police, the incident occurred around 1 a.m. when the victim and her father, a carpenter, were asleep in their house. As they had left the front door open, three young men entered the house and two of them subsequently overpowered the victim's father. The third then criminally assaulted the girl.

The police have registered a case and launched a hunt for the culprits, who are not known to either the victim or her father. The victim's father disclosed that he earlier lived in the Yamuna Pushta area and was recently rehabilitated at Wazirabad village after the demolition.
