This Day That Age
The Government of India have ratified the agreement relating to trade and intercourse between the "Tibet region of China" and India, it was announced in New Delhi on June 3. The agreement was signed in Peking on April 29 last. The Dalai Lama, in a message to Chairman Mao Tse-tung, expressing his full support to the agreement, says: "The agreement enables the re-establishment, on a new basis, of the relations between the two countries in the Tibet region of China through negotiations."
