COIMBATORE, JUNE 4. The South India Cotton Association (SICA) is expected to release the report of its second phase study on cotton market committees in the State by the end of this month. An official of the association said that the SICA - SIMA (Southern India Mills' Association) report on the cotton market committees was aimed at studying the amenities in these yards and suggest measures to improve them. The report of the first phase of the study was released in 2002 and eight of 16 marketing committees in the State were covered. Based on the recommendations of the report, certain measures had been implemented at the yards.
