Balakrishna issue figures in House

HYDERABAD, JUNE 4. The incident involving N. Balakrishna, son of NTR and film hero, figured in the Assembly on Friday morning in mere passing references made by some members and not as a prominent and specific issue of law and order.

Even the House dwelt on the law and order situation in the State under a short discussion.

No member persisted with the case. However, K. Veerabhadra Swamy, independent, was an exception.

He raised the subject at a high-pitch voice, seeking action in the case.

He reminded the House that Balakrishna was brother-in-law of the former Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu.
