By Our Staff Reporter
ERODE, JUNE 5. Four persons entered Erode Jaycees Matriculation HSS, Moolapalayam, and escaped with cash after attacking the watchman early this morning. The police said that the watchman, Munuswamy (45), was doing his rounds, when four persons, with their face masked, attacked him with deadly weapons. He was gagged and locked inside the games room of the school. Then they broke open the principal's room, office room and lockers and escaped with cash and some school materials. They also took away a power-driven two-wheeler. One of the management members, who came to the school in the morning, found the watchman with hand injuries and admitted him to a private hospital.
