KOZHIKODE, JUNE 5. The Chief Minister, A. K. Antony, has said that changes are likely in the portfolios held by him. ``However, any such change would be brought about only with the permission of the (Congress) high command.'' The Chief Minister was speaking to mediapersons at the Town Hall here, the venue of a meeting held in connection with the establishment of a model solid waste management system in the Kozhikode Corporation today. Asked whether the changes would be effected before the next Assembly session, Mr. Antony said no timeframe had been fixed for this. He chose to restrict his reply to a query on the police investigation into the violence at the venue of Thursday's KPCC executive meeting in Thiruvananthapuram. He said the police were investigating the matter and as Home Minister he had certain limitations in making his views public. He said that stringent punishment would be meted out to those responsible for the violence, without fear or favour.
