Two die as tree collapses

KURNOOL, JUNE 5. Two persons died when a tree collapsed near Mahanandi in Kurnool district on Saturday.

According to reports, the watchman in the temple, Ramudu and his daughter, Maheswari, 25, took shelter under a tree when it was suddenly uprooted by high velocity wind killing them on the spot.

The police are investigating the incident.
