PUDUKOTTAI, JUNE 5. A youth, who was running a clinic and administering injections without obtaining MBBS degree, was arrested at Koppampatti near Keeranur in the district on Friday. Prahaladan (22) of Vattanakottai had only completed diploma in pharmacy, and had been running the clinic for almost a year. The arrest followed petitions from villagers to the district administration and the Joint Director (Medical), the police said. The police also seized some syringes, injections and tablets from the clinic. The Udayalipatti police are investigating.
