Tread rubber price increased

KOCHI, JUNE 5. The All Kerala Small Scale Tread Rubber Manufacturers Association has decided to increase the price of tread rubber by Rs. 3 per kg. The association president, Jose Mamparambil, told reporters here today the increase was necessitated by the rise in the price of natural rubber.

Mr. Jose said 90 per cent of the rubber products were being sold outside Kerala.
