CHENNAI, JUNE 5. The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, said here on Saturday that law would take its course in the shooting case involving film star, Balakrishna. Talking to reporters at the airport on arrival from Hyderabad to attend the wedding of the former Chennai Mayor, M.K. Stalin's daughter, Dr. Reddy said: "Law will take its course. An enquiry by the police is already on and since he is hospitalised, human consideration has been shown." Asked as to why his Government was hesitating to arrest the star, Dr. Reddy said: "I would like to make it clear that in Andhra Pradesh we do not believe in taking any hasty action against anybody." Referring to farmers' suicide, the Chief Minister said the Government was in the process of embarking on a series of pro-active measures, including free power supply, to help alleviate farmers' problems. He said Rs.1,200 crores of electricity dues had been waived. "I cannot change the lifestyle of farmers in two or three weeks," he added.
