`Raise interest rates on EPF'

NEW DELHI, JUNE 5. Trade unions today told the Union Finance Minister, P. Chidambaram, to take steps in the coming budget to re-examine the pension scheme introduced by the National Democratic Alliance Government, retain the retirement age at 60, raise the interest rates on Employees Provident Fund and raise the exemption limit on Income Tax.
