By Our Special Correspondent
BANGALORE,
JUNE 5.
The Chief Minister, N. Dharam Singh, today refused to comment on the proposed visit of a Tamil Nadu team to the State to discuss the sharing of Cauvery waters.
To a question on the team's visit to the State in a couple of days to request him to release water, Mr. Singh said, "Let it come; we will discuss with its members." He said the issue did not come up for discussion at today's meeting of the Cabinet.
Mr. Dharam Singh and the Deputy Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, said the next Cabinet meeting on Tuesday would discuss and decide on the issue of Cauvery waters.
